Resilience is our rallying cry;
A sisterhood founded in suffering.
In a divisive world we unify;
Forcing ears to turn to our utterance.
Refusing to accept submissiveness
When we were hand-crafted to howl at moons.
To spread – arms, legs, stories; ubiquitous
Influence, a tightly-woven commune.
We are a force that cannot be subdued
By systematic shame, nor glass ceiling.
In fear, they force us into servitude,
Forgetting that our strength is unyielding.
We are allied dominants, outspoken.
We are made to break – not to be broken.
