Clouds and Coffee and Gabriel Fauré – Poetry by Laura Saint Martin

Richard Diebenkorn – Ocean from a Window

Voices hurl themselves at the updrafts of Heaven.
Clouds shelve their objections,
mustered and awaiting orders.
I hail, with paper chalice,
each Eucharistic chord,
the trajectory of latte over taste buds
my Laudate Dominum.
