Growth – A Poem by Himalia

Automat – Edward Hopper

Lingzhi cannot soften your thoughts.
This dimension is erratic,
it could diminish at any given moment.
But you’ve learned now,
watching your step.

You’re holding a fresh sense of knowledge.
Your outsides have aged,
and you take a sip of apple cider
to soften your thoughts.
Opening the pages of a book,
you then read.
