Vita Brevis Press, LLC will begin accepting submission for its first poetry anthology in the fall. The anthology will feature emerging and established poets and will be available in print and digital formats.
What to Know:
- The anthology will be divided into two parts: PAIN and RENEWAL.
- It will be sold in printed and digital formats with custom cover art.
- It will have high editorial standards and will feature great emerging and established poets.
- It will be marketed beyond the poetry community that already exists on Vita Brevis
This is a great opportunity for the Vita Brevis community, and the poetry community at large, to get some of their best work featured in a brand new anthology. It will be the first of many.
How You Can Help
I’m excited to announce this new project, and I can’t wait to take Vita Brevis to the next level. Since I started this magazine near the end of 2017, I always hoped I could take it this far.
I have all of you to thank for that. Your excellent poetry, community-building, and donations have helped take Vita Brevis from a poetry blog to a full-blown publication, and now a small publisher. Let’s make this anthology the best it can be.
I’m taking the months before I open up the anthology submissions to raise funds. Since I’m hiring professionals to work with me on this, this is essential. I want this to be something we’re all proud of — I’ve already cleared a spot for it on my bookshelf.
The more we can raise, the more I can put toward artwork, formatting, printing, and — most importantly — marketing. I want to get this anthology in front of as many people as possible. You can help by contributing below. Let’s get started!
(If you view this in the Reader and not on the VB website, the pay button will not appear: just click here to see it)
You can donate as much or as little as you'd like -- just adjust the quantity (i.e. 10 = $10).
