
Honeysuckle and fairy gems,
Strewn along summer lanes.
Picking daisies to make chains,
I trampled down my darker days.
The light was yellow buttercups,
Smiling on my journey there.
Joy came easy, no need for
Sumptuous gifts. All was there.
