to touch earth
in a new way
with eyes reaching
across galaxies
and fingers digging
into wet soil
on this mountain
top where one
view makes sense
of wind-blown
white oak leaves
glazed in moonlight
while silence beckons
droplets of soft rain
releasing all desire
