Rental – Poetry by Nanette Tamer

Rene Magritte – The Spot on the Map

They can’t say where they are,
the car rental agent told me,
with GPS,
or say how they got there.

We all have machines
to which we rent
our lives,
The use of them itches.
The need for them itches.
