
Uncle Martin stands

like crescent moon
at midnight
or pastor’s collar
waving red flag
in front of bull devil
only to sidestep
at the last moment
like an eclipse
allowing darkness
to pass through the missing.

About the Poet
Diane Webster grew up in Eastern Oregon before she moved to Colorado. She enjoys drives in the mountains to view all the wildlife and scenery and takes amateur photographs.
