The second Vita Brevis anthology is officially out!
I can’t thank the community enough. Whether you’re a poet whose work is featured in the new collection, a Vita Brevis regular, or a reader, you’ll find something to love.
Day 3: We Did it! You’re a #1 Bestseller

Today’s update is brief.
We did it. You all did it. Vita Brevis’ second poetry anthology, just like the first, became a #1 bestselling new release in the poetry anthology category. This is a big deal for a young publication, and all featured poets deserve every bit of the spotlight. This status might last a day, a week, or maybe even a month. No matter what, we did it.
This is the final update on this anthology. Great work everyone. This community never ceases to amaze me.
Your friend and editor,
Brian Geiger
Day #2 Update: You’re Almost a Bestselling Poet!

If you missed yesterday’s anthology announcement, you can find it here. Today, your poetry ranked as the #2 bestseller in the new release poetry anthology category!
I can’t thank the Vita Brevis community enough. This type of performance is what keeps Vita Brevis reading-fee free. Thanks for making poetry publication accessible to everyone, and for keeping this little publication running.
And congratulations on almost becoming bestselling poets — let’s get up to #1!
Let’s make this another bestseller!
To Contributing Poets
If you’re featured in this book, I encourage you to list it under your name on your Amazon Author page! Also, in case GoodReads librarians don’t add you as an author, feel free to make that suggestion. Congratulations on your publication, and thanks for contributing to the Vita Brevis community!

Thank you for the notification Brian, time to reload my quill. 😊⌚
Thanks for the heads up Brian!
Brian,
I am curious how the anthology is going. I have no doubt it will be wonderful. Any updates? With all that has gone on in the past 12 months I can only imagine you may be facing challenges. I continue to love the poems you share Vita Brevis. Thank you.
Ali, great to hear from you! The anthology is still on track to be published by the end of April. There were well over a thousand submissions this time around, so reviewing them has been quite the task. I’m nearing the finish line!
Wow! Over 1000 submissions. That is incredible. You have been busy. I look forward to reading your selections. No doubt it will be a wonderful collection.
