Poetry by Megha Sood
This rhythmic symphony
the earth is humming
as I try along to resonate with its tune
syncopating with the vibration
a percussion of the disconnected heartbeats
a staccato knitted together
so closely and neatly
as we overcome the voiceless din
the cacophony
and the blaring dissonance
of the voices in the abyss
a drop of elixir for our marred souls
As I place my ear close to her heaving heart
attenuating myself
to the rhythmic beat of her heartbeats, closing the gap
holding hands together in the staccato
beating together
and as we reach the resonance
I can hear the mother humming.

Beautiful!
As a musician, I find this to be beautiful poetry with an understanding of musical terminology. Well done my friend. 🙂🎶
