Of Waves and Fish – Poem by Mark Lindsey

Poetry by Mark Lindsey

Staring.
Into the water, I see a myriad of forms.
Waves beneath waves.
Life in life,
Energy on energy.
I wonder if fish,
Wonder of us.
Or if they look at us.
They play beneath our feet,
Like we play beneath God’s feet.
Do we love them like he loves us?

  1. I really like this poem, especially these two lines:

    They play beneath our feet,
Like we play beneath God’s feet.
