Poetry by Dorinda Duclos
Minutes tick by
as hours
fade to dusk
I am lost
in my own little world
Trying desperately
to figure out
the what
and the why
Running aimlessly
through days
forgetting
their purpose
I need
to slow down
breathe
but time
waits
or no one
And the minutes
tick by, hours
fade to black
And I
I have missed
the sunset
once again
